crate training

Hey guys i love this forum...looking for some advise for our new puppy Lego....he is almost 4 months old now. we have kept the crate next to our bed and lately he is having a really hard time settling...unable to get comfortable and seems to be really hot (always panting)...whenever we move an inch he is awake and starts to whine wanting to get out!
We think its time to move the crate to another location...maybe downstairs (finished basement) as the crate is extra large and would be too big for livingroom
any advise greatly appreciated!

Biting and Disobedient

Sam was born August 16, 2011 and we brought him home on October 26, 2011. He can be the sweetest guy! He sits, gives us his paw, eliminates outside and is mostly sweet. However, he becomes out of control, running and jumping on the furniture, and constant nipping. It is becoming disturbing. Help !!

kids and toys

Hi! I have a 6 month old Goldendoodle. I am thinking of looking for a new home for my little (actaully huge) guy, but I really don't want to. He WILL NOT leave the kids toys a lone. Any time he is in the house I am training him not to. I take the toy, say NO and then give hime his own toy. He also has his own toy box. How do I get him to stop? He also thinks he is one of the kids, they are 3 and 1. When they run, he runs, it turns into the kids being thrown to the ground. Toby has had puppy training, and he did well at it, and gets walks every night.

Invisable Fence

We just put in an invisable fence for our five month old Goldendoodle. After two shocks in training, she does not want to even go in the back yard, and will pant if she see's the collar. Are Goldendoodles to sensitive for this type of fencing? We are unable to have a regular fence due to our H/O association. The flagging was not exactly right the first time which let her pass it and get a stronger shock. Should I try again?

how to handle my two goldendoodles; greeting vistors into home

I have two goldendoodles, they are 11 months old and I would like it if they wouldn't be so excited and jump all over my guests when they come into my home. I don't want to have to put them outside everytime someone comes for a visit. Please help!!

Success with training these type of chiidren.

We have two puppies in our home at this time. Maverick is 4 and is a chi pom mix; and Spanky 1s 15 and doing very well. We want to add to our family and we would love a golden doodle. We would prefer a little black puppy or ivory colored pup. Due to where we live, there are very few neighor hood gates, but there isa large back yard and when we plan to move in a few month or years

Attacking small dogs

We purchased a 2-year-old beautiful female goldendoodle about a month ago. We had her evaluated as to the possibility of training her as an alert dog for my 13-year-old handicapped grandson. She passed with flying colors. She loves our big Doberman puppy and gives him much needed exercise, she loves all of us, including my six grandkids, she doesn't chew things up, she doesn't dig, she is very obedient and she is completely housebroken. So now for the problems!

Started to growl at strange things/people just recently..advise
