I am looking for a positive re-inforcment trainer in the Cambridge/Guelph area.
My past 2 dogs i took for grade 1 & 2 out towards mississaga when we lived out that way.
I have been training Abbey on my own and she is doing awesome, but i would like to also expose her to the training & distractions in a controlled enviroment { Easier than in a Dog Park etc with other dogs loose and not controlled }.
I have found that this greatly helped with my 2 other dogs as well in fine-tunning the responce to listen to commands when faced with distractions.
I am looking for a trainer in the Cambridge/ Guelph area to use in March .
I have never used Pet Smart , but have been told that Pet Smart has classes but that they are not as positive orientated as other trainrers in that they use prongs/chokes, etc ????. Although it is at each dog owers choice in what they use.
As Abbey is a very soft dog personality wise and quiet.. Certain methods i know will cause her to regress from all the rehab and goald she has attained . I wish to continue with the positive training focus i have been doing while adding the distractions etc.
Any suggestions or shared expereinces are greatly appreciated.
