How much do you know about Goldendoodle puppy care? If you have a new puppy at home or plan to bring one home soon, you need to be prepared for this. First of all, you need to be prepared to sleep very little for the first few days. Your new pup is going to be scared and lonely. He will likely cry most of time, especially during the night. However, once he realizes he's safe and loved, he'll adjust and begin sleeping comfortably.

Tips for caring for your new puppy:

• Make sure your puppy is eating and drinking water. It won't take long for him to get sick if he's not eating and drinking properly.
• Make sure he has a safe place to sleep that is warm and cozy.
• Puppies will get into everything and they don't understand that some things can be harmful. It's up to you to make sure these things are not within his reach.
• Don't forget to give your puppy plenty of toys to keep him occupied and happy.
• Buy the grooming supplies needed to keep your Goldendoodle's coat clean and healthy.
• Have the vet appointments set up to make sure he gets the proper check-ups and stays updated on his shots.
• Set aside special time to spend with your puppy playing and taking him for walks.

Raising a puppy is fun and exciting but it also involves a lot of hard work. You can't just bring him into your home and expect him to know what to do. Aside from the health issues, you also need to train your puppy. He won't know that he's supposed to go outside to use the bathroom until you teach him. Neither will he know that the pair of shoes he just devoured was your favorite pair.

As the pet owner, it's up to you to make sure you take care of all your pet's needs regardless if it's physical, mental or emotional. When you take care of your Goldendoodles properly, you will be greatly rewarded with a caring and loving friend that will always be there for you.
