I was very sad to hear your story about Brodie and I think it would be a good idea to state here the name of that Breeder so that others may be warned. People look to a website like this for encouragement and for information which is why we should all share stories both good and bad. I got my Golden doodle from Swiss Ridge Kennels and couldn't be happier. They garuantee both health and temparament. Rather than allowing people to go and pick from the litter they have prospective owners fill out detailed forms to gather information about the prospective owners then they decide for you which puppy will best suit you. At first I was uncomfortable with that method but after reading up I found that it is possible for people with "expertise" to evaluate a puppy's future temparament and I have to say they definitely chose the right dog for me.
