Yesterday my husband, three children and I drove the one and a half hour trip to meet our breeder and select our puppy that we will pick up next Monday. This weekend is formal pick-up and we have first choice, but cannot get back to the breeder until Monday, so we went to pick ahead of time. We all agreed on our pick, except my husband who has happily conceeded, but I am starting to second guess our decision. Perhaps there would be no problems if we had simply taken the dog home with us as we would have if we were there this weekend, but we didn't. I am concernend that we picked the "shy" one in the bunch and that she might have some problems adjusting to us or socializing. My husband and I grew up with dogs but this is our first dog as a family. Should I call the breeder and re-select, or are these just silly doubts?
