Sadie, or Sadie Belle as I affectionately call her, is the newest 6lb member of our household. I have been wanting a puppy for the last 3 years, but my husband felt like we needed to wait until our busy lifestyle settled down before bringing a puppy into our home. When he finally agreed that it was time to add a member to our family, I starting spending a lot of time looking for the perfect dog. I am terribly allergic to dogs, thus our search was limited to only a select number of "hypoallergenic" breeds. My husband and I couldn't agree on a single breed until we came across a goldendoodle website. After researching the breed and talking to current doodle owners, we both agreed that it would be the perfect dog for us. Two weeks ago we welcomed 12 week old Sadie into our home and now we can't remember what life was like before her. She flew all the way to Texas from South Carolina to meet us! Even though it has been a short amount of time, she has adjusted very well. We have already taught her to sit, lay down, and I can proudly say that she sleeps through the night in her crate! She is incredibly smart and we love her dearly! I have also not had ANY allergic response to her whatsoever, which was a huge relief! We are excited to see how she grows and are grateful for a website like this one. We are looking forward to sharing more stories as Sadie grows!
