I'm unable to keep our goldendoodle out of our koi pond

Rusty is a 5 month old goldendoodle ,almost everytime we let him into the back yard he goes right to the pond ,sometimes he will even drop his ball into the pond so he can go in and get it.We need help,Good manners class starts tomorrow
