How Much is Too Much?

Im looking to purchase my first Goldendoodle. I believe I have found the right breeder, but the cost is $1,500.00. The health assurances are as follows and is key to why I believe they are the right breeder:

"Our parent dogs have had their hips and elbows certified by OFA. The dogs have a series of x-rays taken and those x-rays are sent to an independent foundation of veterinarians where they classify the joint formation of the dogs. Fail, Poor, Fair, Good and Excellent are the rankings. All our dogs are either good or excellent. Our poodles are all excellent. We also have blood panels done and all of our goldens have had their hearts certified as well."

I also have another breeder lined up at $500.00, but they do not have all of the health assurances. I just have to take his word, that all his dogs are healthy. Am I to health worried? Should I just go with the cheaper one, or go with the more expensive dog because of what they provide health wise. Both places give little packages for when you take the dog home, and both have the usual one year health guarantee.
