House Training gone wrong...

Hey Dood Friends!
The house training began perfectly. We took Lilah out often and she went outside. There were a few mistakes in the house, so we made sure to pick up wee wee pads the next day. Things were going great, but somewhere down the road she started relying solely on the pads and stopped bothering to go while outside. She’ll play outside for 15 to 20 minutes and then come inside to do her business. I probably should correct myself. Cesar Milan has taught me instead of thinking “bad dog,” think “bad human.” I have probably been relying too heavily on the back up inside the house and not taken her out enough. But now I’m trying to correct it, but she still often goes inside instead of out. Any ideas? Any house training success stories?
P.S. – We’ve crate-trained Lilah thus far and she has had only one mistake in the crate. The rest have been when we are home (and apparently not watching, it takes only a moment after all). She’s good about only going on the pads and not the hardwood, but I’d rather the pads only being a last resort.
