Hey Dood Friends!
So she’s 14 weeks and loosing her milk teeth, so of course, biting is therapeutic and pacifying. Oh, the brilliance of bitter barrier. At least, that’s what I thought until she decided to chew on the items I sprayed down even more, as if she liked it. Weird? I know first hand it doesn’t taste good because I accidentally touched my lips with it still on my hands. Ick! And the flavor stays with you. So I’m wondering if she figures she can’t get rid of the flavor, might as well enjoy chewing the forbidden object.
I try to trade a toy in exchange for my hand, but I guess my hand is the perfect chew thing. She has also been doing that leaping and nipping thing. And biting the legs of our jeans or pajama pants, and holding on for dear life. This behavior happens more often and more severely when she is hyper. Now you know the situation, what do you think we can do differently? Any ideas?
